The program will follow established season dates and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eregulations.com\/maryland\/hunting\/white-tailed-deer-seasons-and-bag-limits\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bag limits<\/a> found in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dnr.state.md.us\/huntersguide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Guide to Hunting and Trapping in Maryland<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This program is designed to provide managed public hunting access to the site through a partnership with the <a href=\"http:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Maryland Department of Natural Resources<\/a> and the Maryland-National\u00a0Capital\u00a0Park and Planning Commission.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Hunter access to the site (18300 Queen Anne Bridge Road) will require possession of a seasonal permit and daily reservations available from the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/wildlife\/Pages\/publiclands\/southern\/myrtlegrove.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Myrtle Grove Wildlife Management Area<\/a> office. Hunting will take place Monday to Friday during regulated hours. Hunters will be provided the combination to a gate and must park in a designated area to participate.\u00a0To contact the\u00a0Myrtle Grove Wildlife Management Area, please call 301-743-5161.<\/p>\n<p>For hunters interested in scouting the property before hunting, there will be designated scout time noon to 4 p.m. Dec. 1, and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 2. The gate will be open and staff from the Maryland-National\u00a0Capital\u00a0Park and Planning Commission will be on-site to answer questions and provide maps.
