The event is sponsored by the Corsica River Conservancy, Corsica River Yacht Club and Queen Anne\u2019s County.<\/p>\n<p>Available species include mixed oak (pin and white), with a limited number of redbud, river birch, eastern red cedar and bald cypress.<\/p>\n<p>About 50 trees are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tree species cannot be reserved but can selected at time of pickup.\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Each one-gallon, containerized native tree seedling is approximately 1-2 feet tall.\u00a0To help protect the health of the seedlings, the department will also provide a free tree tube, stake and bird net while supplies last.<\/p>\n<p>To reserve a free tree, interested landowners should contact\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:brittany.haas@maryland.gov\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Brittany Haas<\/a>\u00a0at 410-819-4120.
