Activities will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.\u00a0Saturday night will feature a unique nocturnal hike starting at 8 p.m.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Please ask for the day&#8217;s schedule when arriving at the park.\u00a0Activities are located within the fort, at the nature center and along the trails.\u00a0Food, gifts, and souvenir items will be available for sale at Captain Wort&#8217;s Sutler Shop.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Special events include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Discover the Art of Gunnery<\/li>\n<li>Discover the Art of the Soldier<\/li>\n<li>Discover the Fashions of the Enlightenment<\/li>\n<li>Discover the Refinement of a Gentleman<\/li>\n<li>Discover the Science of Medicine<\/li>\n<li>Discover the Way of a Soldier<\/li>\n<li>Discover the Wildlife of Fort Frederick<\/li>\n<li>Fishing 101: Children\u2019s Fishing Program (Gear Provided)<\/li>\n<li>Night Hike for Nocturnal Animal Adaptations: Guided by ranger, (Easy-Moderate) 1\/2 mile<\/li>\n<li>Plantation Trail Hike: Guided by staff, (Easy-Moderate) 1 mile<\/li>\n<li>Rocking Out: Geology Program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There is a service charge of $3 per car for residents and $5 for nonresidents.\u00a0 Disabled access is available; however, most of the activities are situated on grassy areas that may present difficulty.
