Shad Landing Marina at Pocomoke River State Park<\/p><\/div><\/dt>\n<\/dl>\n<\/div>\n

Delmarva boaters are invited to rent annual, seasonal, monthly or daily boat slips at Pocomoke River State Park<\/a>. The park, located within the 15,000 wooded acres of Pocomoke State Forest<\/a> in Worcester County, has roughly two dozen slips available at reasonable rates.<\/p>\n

The park can accommodate large and small vessels alike with the depth of the freshwater Pocomoke River ranging from 7 feet to 45 feet. Boat operators can call\u00a0410-632-2566<\/a>\u00a0to reserve a slip or stop by the administration office or camp store for more information.<\/div>\n

<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u00a0Amenities available with a boat slip rental include restrooms with hot showers, access to a laundry facility, playground and complimentary Wi-Fi.<\/div>\n

\u201cBoating or paddling along the scenic Pocomoke River, wading through the calm yet muddy waters, is part of the Delmarva experience,\u201d Maryland Park Service<\/a> Ranger\u00a0Cineva Smith said.\u00a0\u201cThe park is an ideal location for fishing and wildlife watching as well rest and relaxation. I encourage boaters in Delaware and Maryland to take advantage of this unique opportunity to secure a slip before the boating season ramps up this spring.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Shad Landing Marina, located in Snow Hill, has about two dozen boat slips available with electrical and water hookups, launching ramp, lighted dock area, and a fuel and transient pier. Ethanol-free unleaded fuel and a pump-out station are available. Canoes and kayaks are also available for rent.<\/p>\n

Additional activities and amenities at Pocomoke River State Park include camping, fishing, hiking and hunting. The park also features a Nature Center, Park Store and a pool. The park\u00a0celebrated its 50th anniversary<\/a> in September 2017 with an all-day celebration on National Public Lands Day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
