The ceremony at the <a href=\"http:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/publiclands\/Pages\/eastern\/wyeisland.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wye Island Natural Resource Management Area<\/a> in Queen Anne&#8217;s County capped the students&#8217; completion of 1,700 hours of work with the <a href=\"http:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/publiclands\/Pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Maryland Park Service.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div>\n<dl id=\"attachment_16404\">\n<dt><a href=\"http:\/\/news.maryland.gov\/dnr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/08\/Assateague-tree-program_dpi-300.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/news.maryland.gov\/dnr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/08\/Assateague-tree-program_dpi-300-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Maryland Conservation Corps members help students plant trees\" width=\"760\" height=\"570\" \/><\/a>The graduates, ranging in age from 17 to 25 years old, were from Maryland and other states, including Florida, New York and Pennsylvania.
