The managed hunting opportunity complements the <a href=\"http:\/\/news.maryland.gov\/dnr\/2015\/11\/13\/three-day-goose-hunting-season-to-open-at-deep-creek-lake\/\" target=\"_blank\">existing goose hunting program<\/a> at Deep Creek Lake.<\/p>\n<p>The two hunts are by permit and reservation only during select days (Nov. 21-23). Interested hunters can apply <a href=\"https:\/\/webapps02.dnr.state.md.us\/DNRHarmApp\/Request.aspx?ParserValue=MyrtleGrove\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe chance to hunt waterfowl at Broadford Lake provides a new hunting opportunity for resident and non-resident hunters,\u201d said Wildlife and Heritage Service Director Paul Peditto. \u201cThe hunt will expand our efforts to reduce conflicts with geese at Deep Creek Lake and nearby communities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Maryland hunters can apply to hunt one of two ground-blind sites or one open-water site at <a href=\"http:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/wildlife\/Documents\/BroadfordBlindSites.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Broadford Lake<\/a> or one of three open-water sites at <a href=\"http:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/wildlife\/Documents\/Deep-Creek-Lake-GooseBlindMaps.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Deep Creek Lake<\/a>.
