{"id":10254,"date":"2016-05-13T11:19:03","date_gmt":"2016-05-13T15:19:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/news.maryland.gov\/dnr\/?p=10254"},"modified":"2016-05-13T11:39:22","modified_gmt":"2016-05-13T15:39:22","slug":"maryland-to-assemble-black-bass-advisory-subcommittee","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.maryland.gov\/dnr\/2016\/05\/13\/maryland-to-assemble-black-bass-advisory-subcommittee\/","title":{"rendered":"Maryland to Assemble Black Bass Advisory Subcommittee"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/c2.staticflickr.com\/8\/7591\/26956696306_2d3a417303.jpg\" alt=\"Black bass \" width=\"172\" height=\"129\" \/>The <a href=\"http:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\" target=\"_blank\">Maryland Department of Natural Resources<\/a> is creating a subcommittee to advise the <a href=\"http:\/\/dnr2.maryland.gov\/fisheries\/Pages\/mgmt-committees\/sfac-index.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Sport Fisheries Advisory Commission<\/a> on questions regarding the long-term sustainability of smallmouth and largemouth bass fishing in the state.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Anyone interested in joining the subcommittee may apply by filling out and submitting the online <a href=\"http:\/\/dnr2.maryland.gov\/fisheries\/Pages\/mgmt-committees\/bbas-index.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">Black Bass Advisory Subcommittee application<\/a> prior to 5:00 p.m., June 3, 2016.<\/p>\n<p>The department will assess the applications and make membership recommendations to the commissioners, who will ultimately make the selections. Subcommittee members will be asked to serve for a minimum of four years.
