His art has been featured in magazines and books, often depicting wildlife and outdoor scenes. To see more of his work, visit larrysmailart.com.<\/p>\n<p>Proceeds from the sale of Black Bear Conservation Stamps and other related items are used to compensate Maryland farmers experiencing agricultural damage caused by black bears. These proceeds are added to the Black Bear Compensation Fund established by the Maryland General Assembly. Brothers by Richard Menard\" width=\"295\" height=\"205\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Brothers by Richard Menard<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Richard Menard from Hollywood, Md. won the 42<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0annual <strong>Maryland Migratory Game Bird Stamp Design Contest<\/strong> with his painting titled\u00a0<em>Brothers<\/em> of two northern shovelers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is the first time I\u2019ve won and I\u2019m very happy,\u201d said Menard. \u201cAnything I can do to help with conservation is a good thing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Maryland Migratory Game Bird Stamp Design Contest showcases the talents of our\u00a0state\u2019s gifted wildlife artists while raising funds for conservation. Migratory game bird hunters are required to purchase these stamps and the proceeds fund migratory game bird research and habitat enhancement on the state\u2019s public lands.
