{"id":13485,"date":"2026-03-12T15:21:46","date_gmt":"2026-03-12T19:21:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.maryland.gov\/dhcd\/?p=13485"},"modified":"2026-03-12T15:21:47","modified_gmt":"2026-03-12T19:21:47","slug":"public-notice-maryland-department-of-housing-and-community-developments-project-based-housing-voucher-program-waiting-list-for-elkton-md-open-april-1-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.maryland.gov\/dhcd\/2026\/03\/12\/public-notice-maryland-department-of-housing-and-community-developments-project-based-housing-voucher-program-waiting-list-for-elkton-md-open-april-1-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"PUBLIC NOTICE: Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development\u2019s Project Based Housing Voucher Program Waiting List for Elkton MD: Open April 1, 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) will open the Project-Based Housing Choice Voucher Program waiting lists for the town of Elkton beginning April 1, 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The waiting lists will be open from:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>April 1, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. through April 30, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">During this time, individuals and families may submit a preliminary application online to be considered for rental assistance at the following properties:<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Housing Communities Included<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Applications will be accepted for select units at:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>The Willows at Windsor<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Rudy Park Apartments<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Birchwood at Main<\/b> <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">(62 years of age and older)<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>How to Apply<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Applications must be submitted <\/span><b>online only<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> at:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.waitlistcheck.com\/MD1645\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">https:\/\/www.waitlistcheck.com\/MD1645<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The online application is available in multiple languages.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Submitting a preliminary application does not guarantee placement on the waiting list.
