This feedback will help shape the State\u2019s upcoming <\/span><b>Annual Action Plan (AAP)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> for Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2026\u2013State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2027.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Annual Action Plan is required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and explains how federal funding will be used to support housing, community development, and economic opportunity for Maryland residents during the period <\/span><b>July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The AAP covers the following HUD programs:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Housing Trust Fund (HTF)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Public Hearing:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">DHCD will hold one virtual public hearing to receive comments from residents about housing and community development needs throughout Maryland.
