Attached are detailed instructions for your Project\u2019s 2024 annual certificates of compliance. Compliance forms and instructions for specific project\/funding types can be downloaded from the\u00a0Multifamily Resources<\/u>\u00a0tab on the Department\u2019s\u00a0Multifamily Housing Development Document Library<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Please read and pay careful attention to this email and the attached Instructions as some processes have changed. Failure to follow the instructions may result in compliance certificates and documents being rejected<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n IMPORTANT NOTES<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Changes to Compliance Forms<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0– The attachments to the compliance certificates have some minor, but important, changes. Most notably –<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The Standard Compliance forms now contain detailed instructions to assist you in completing the forms.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The Picklist for Funding Programs has been updated and, like Project Name, you must select the appropriate Funding Program from the Picklist.\u00a0 Manual entries will be rejected.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0LIHTC and LIHTC Extended Use\u00a0<\/u><\/strong>– LIHTC is a new Funding Program option in the Funding Programs picklist. The Standard Compliance form submission is required for all projects that:<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n NOTE – CDA will continue to require separate LIHTC compliance submissions for\u00a0all projects in their Compliance Period<\/u>.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Additional fields have been added to include:<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Timing of Annual Compliance Submissions\u00a0<\/u><\/strong>– The timing for compliance submissions this year is earlier than it has been in the past.\u00a0 This is, in part, due to the timing of implementation of DCA\u2019s new multifamily asset management system on Prolink.\u00a0 DCA plans to continue requiring compliance documentation and certifications early in the calendar year for future years as we transition to Prolink for annual compliance reporting.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n We truly appreciate your cooperation and support<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0in this process.
