The plan outlines how federal funding will be used to improve housing, support community development, and provide economic opportunities across the state.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Consolidated Plan is required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and includes programs such as:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/><br \/><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME)<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/><br \/><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG)<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/><br \/><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA)<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/><br \/><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Housing Trust Fund (HTF)<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/><br \/><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Public Hearings:<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">DHCD will host four in-person public hearings and one virtual hearing to receive feedback from Maryland residents.
