Maryland Affordable Housing Trust (MAHT) – Round 51 (SFY26) Grant Application Competition

The Maryland Affordable Housing Trust (MAHT) is now accepting grant applications for Round 51 (SFY26).

The Maryland Affordable Housing Trust (MAHT) supports efforts to make housing more affordable across the State of Maryland. The program provides funding to assist households earning less than 50% of the area median income, with a focus on those earning less than 30%.

MAHT funds can be used for:

• Capital costs for rental or homeownership housing
  
  
• Capacity building for nonprofit housing developers
  
  
• Supportive services for residents of affordable housing
  
  
• Operating expenses for affordable housing developments
  
  

Who can apply? Eligible applicants include:

• Nonprofit organizations
  
  
• Public housing authorities
  
  
• County and Local governments
  
  
• For-profit organizations
