PUBLIC NOTICE: LIHTC Compliance and Monitoring Policy (Post Year 15) Open for Public Comment

The Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development is releasing its draft of the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Compliance and Monitoring Policy (Post Year 15) for public comment. The draft can be found in the Multifamily Library under Low Income Housing Tax Credits Compliance Documents.

This public notice supplements the Multifamily Housing Notice 24-3. Public comments can be sent to dca_mf.dhcd@maryland.gov and will be accepted until December 6, 2024. Please include “Extended Use Policy” in the subject line of your comments. The Department will review all comments but will not respond to individual comments.

Following the review of comments received, the Department will prepare the final LIHTC Compliance and Monitoring Policy (Post Year 15) and send out a Multifamily Housing Notice when the final version is published to the Department’s website. It is anticipated that the FINAL LIHTC Compliance and Monitoring Policy will be effective as of January 1, 2025.
