YLan has led a group of interns in developing performance dashboards to keep OSP senior leaders apprised of top procurement performance. She truly embodies the \u201cDoing Good Service\u201d mindset and continues to bring solutions where others might offer obstacles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Russel Holland<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">On Monday, November 18th, 2024, we experienced a fire at the loading dock of the Nancy Grasmick Building. Russel, our on-site DGS OFM team member, immediately jumped into action and put the fire out before the fire department arrived. Russel\u2019s quick action\u00a0prevented any further substantial damage to the building.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Gilbert McCoy<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">I want to take a moment to recognize Officer G. McCoy for his outstanding service in cleaning up the Calvert Street garage over the past week. His training, expertise, and unwavering dedication are invaluable assets to the Maryland Capitol Police Department. Officer McCoy has made significant strides in addressing unauthorized parking issues by issuing tickets and towing several vehicles, which has directly contributed to resolving multiple complaints in the area. The Calvert Street garage, frequented by state employees, Maryland citizens, and law enforcement officers, has greatly benefited from Officer McCoy\u2019s tireless efforts in ensuring security, quality, and order. His commitment to maintaining this essential space is genuinely commendable. In addition to his work in the garage, Officer McCoy\u2019s leadership qualities stand out. He consistently demonstrates excellence in every assignment, completing each task with accuracy and precision. His dedication to continuous learning and willingness to assist in all areas of need reflect his strong work ethic and commitment to the department. As a Field Training Officer, Officer McCoy leads by example, providing guidance and leadership to those around him. He excels in his duties and actively contributes to the growth and development of his fellow officers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Furthermore, Officer McCoy\u2019s expertise in traffic control, particularly around State Circle, Rowe Blvd, Calvert Street, and College Avenue crosswalks, ensures the safety of our constituents, staff members, and state officials. His focus on public safety is unwavering, and his service does not go unnoticed. Thank you, Officer G. McCoy, for your exemplary service and dedication.
