He has become my go-to person for completing challenging assignments. He consistently goes above and beyond, such as sealing a repair site to prevent issues others might overlook. Corey is well-liked by tenants and coworkers, ensuring immediate attention to tenant needs and teaching others how to use systems like Emaint effectively. Over the past three months, Corey has stepped up during his supervisor’s absence, taking initiative without being asked and ensuring smooth operations. Now that he is an employee of DGS, he has taken ownership of the Senate Building as a Facilities Management Technician. He takes the initiative to get things done without being asked. His pleasant demeanor and attitude are a winning attribute to the DGS OFM Annapolis Team. He always lends a hand to help any team member despite the buildings they work in. Upon screening a visitor through the security checkpoint, she noticed he possessed a state contractor’s identification card that did not belong to him. Upon further investigation, Security Officer Brown was able to ascertain that the identification card belonged to a former state contractor who no longer worked on the property. Security Officer Brown quickly confiscated the state contractor’s identification card and notified her supervisor to report the incident. Security Officer Brown’s attention to detail and keen observation exemplify the mission of the Maryland Capitol Police. The violation was corrected and will be investigated further thanks to Officer Brown’s thorough investigation and experience.

Monica Franklin

Monica Franklin is nominated for Caught Doing Great Service for her customer service.
