General Services is proud to announce a new member to our senior leadership team to further strengthen our already talented Department of General Services. Please join us in welcoming Ms. Deirdra Bell who is appointed Director of Capital Grants & Loans. Ms. Bell’s wealth of experience in leading other business units with a financial and economic development focus will serve our department well as we continue working to efficiently oversee capital grants to organizations across Maryland. In her role, Ms. Bell  will direct a unit administering more than 1400 capital grant projects across the state valued at over $1.1 billion dollars. She will also focus on developing and executing strategic plans for greater efficiency and transparency to program stakeholders.
