Limited Hours: State ID Card Centers in Baltimore & Annapolis

On March 9, 2020, Governor Hogan raised the State of Emergency to Level II in response to contain the spread of the Novel Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19). This does not close State facilities but moves DGS towards the preparation of Continuity of Operations Plans.  The Department of Budget and Management has identified the issuance of State ID cards and building access control to be mission-critical for the function of State government.

As a result, effective Monday, March 16, 2020, both of the Maryland Capitol Police of the Department of General Services (MCP) State ID card centers in Annapolis and Baltimore will limit the hours of operations to the following schedule, until further advised:

Monday         10:00 am – 2:00pm

Wednesday    10:00 am – 2:00pm

Friday           10:00 am – 2:00pm
