Strengthening the community through partnerships.

Recently the MD National Guard and the Western District of the Baltimore Police Department worked together to reduce gun violence and to help strengthen the community.

In the fall, we joined together and held a Halloween Trunk or Treat event for those in the community. This gave the children a safe location to get candy and an opportunity to see the police and #CitizenSoldiers as a positive part of their community.

We also produced three anti-gun violence videos. They highlight that guns are not the answer to problems. Gun violence in Baltimore is at record levels. By working together through partnerships, we can strengthen our communities where we live and work.
