Top Teachers, Promising Education Students Join In Mentoring Day

More than 225 award-winning teacher and Maryland university students in education will get together this Friday with some of the top graduating seniors from State’s colleges and universities for the ninth annual Teachers of Promise Institute.

Teachers of Promise is a unique mentoring program, drawing on the expertise of the State’s outstanding educators.  More than 60 award-winning teachers have been matched with promising pre-service graduating seniors and will mentor them during the spring and summer transition periods until the new teachers are placed in their schools.
