Performance Audit Results of Baltimore City Public Schools Transportation Department Released

BALTIMORE – One of the recommendations of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) related to their ongoing investigation of an accident involving a school bus/driver under contract to Baltimore City Public Schools (BCPS) was for the BCPS to request that the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) have an independent and neutral third party conduct a performance audit of the BCPS transportation department.
