Maryland’s 2017 State Assessment Results Now Available

System- and school-level results for the third year of the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Career (PARCC) tests are now available on Maryland’s Report Card website.

English Language Arts gains were statistically significant at all levels except grade eight in 2017, while the results were mixed for mathematics.

The PARCC exams are considerably more rigorous than the Maryland School Assessment tests they replaced in 2015, and are designed to provide students, parents, and teachers a better idea of where students stand in regard to college and career readiness.
