Deadline Extended to Peer Coaching Collaborative Applications

Teachers Have Until Friday to Apply for Professional Development Program

BALTIMORE – The Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) has extended the deadline for applying for the Peer Coaching Collaborative Program until this Friday, May 12.

The Peer Coaching Collaborative Program, now in its second year, will provide stipends, substitute pay, tools, resources and support visits to schools throughout school year 2017-18. Teachers can choose one of five pathways to structure their work around: data-based school improvement goals and action steps; using data to manage student learning objectives; supporting non-tenured teachers; sustaining FAME-trained teachers or; student engagement and reaching diverse learners.
