Maryland State Superintendent Lillian M. Lowery will celebrate the success of one the State’s top schools on Tuesday, as her annual Blue Ribbon Tour of Excellence makes a stop at Pine Grove Elementary School in Baltimore County.

Pine Grove Elementary is one of six Maryland Blue Ribbon Schools selected earlier this year.  The school has a strong history of academic achievement, with more than 95 percent of its students hitting proficiency targets on State assessments with no gap in achievement among racial subgroups.
