Meeting Notice: Maryland Horse Industry Board to Meet January 22

UPDATE:  Due to potentially hazardous weather conditions, the Maryland Horse Industry Board has rescheduled this meeting for Wednesday, February 10, at 10 a.m. in Room 110 of Md. Dept. of Agriculture (50 Harry S Truman Pkwy, Annapolis, Md.). 

The Horse Discovery Center and Health Advisory Committee meetings will follow the Board meeting at 12:30 and 2:30 p.m., respectively.

ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Maryland Horse Industry Board—a program within the Maryland Department of Agriculture—will be held Friday, January 22, at 10 a.m. in the Vista Room of the Administration Building at Maryland State Fairgrounds (2200 York Road, Timonium, Md.). The meeting will include discussion of Horse Board initiatives, updates from board members and reports from our stable inspectors.

Following the board meeting, a meeting will be held with operators of Maryland’s Horse Discovery Centers (12:30 -2 p.m.) and the Horse Board’s Health Advisory Committee (2:30-4 p.m.). In addition, the Horse Board will have a booth in the Cow Palace Jan. 22-24 at the Horse World Expo.
