MDA Public Notice: MDA to Increase Mosquito Control Activities in Anne Arundel County
ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Maryland Department of Agriculture, in cooperation with Anne Arundel County, will expand mosquito control services in Glen Burnie due to evidence of West Nile virus in the area.
Mosquito Control ULV spraying will occur on Thursday, Sept. 17, and Thursday, Sept. 24, weather permitting, beginning at or after 7:30 p.m. in the following communities: Bright Water Beach, Chestnut Hill Cove, Creekside Village Apartments, Creekside Village Homes, Creekside Village Townhomes, Green Lawn Beach, Green Lawn Shores, Solley, Solley Park.
Any existing spray exemptions in the area will be temporarily suspended. People should avoid outdoor activities on spray nights. For a map of the spray area or call MDA’s Mosquito Control Program at 410-841-5870.
