PUBLIC NOTICE: MDA to Increase Mosquito Control Activities in Anne Arundel County

ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Maryland Department of Agriculture, in cooperation with Anne Arundel County, will expand mosquito control services in Anne Arundel County due to evidence of West Nile virus in the area.

Mosquito Control ULV spraying will occur on Monday, August 31, weather permitting,  in the following communities: Edgewater, Glebe Heights, Londontown, Londontown Terrace, Oak Bluff, Parkwood, Pine Whiff Beach, South River Colony, South River Landing, South River Park, Turnbull Estates, Woodland Beach.

Spraying will begin at or after 7:30 p.m. Any existing spray exemptions in the area will be temporarily suspended. People should avoid outdoors activities on spray nights. Click here for a map of the area to be treated, or call MDA’s Mosquito Control Program at 410-841-5870.
