Public Notice: MDA to Increase Mosquito Control Activities in Baltimore County

ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Maryland Department of Agriculture, in cooperation with Baltimore County, will expand mosquito control services in Baltimore County due to evidence of West Nile virus in the area.  Mosquito Control ULV spraying will occur on Thursday, Aug. 27, and again on Thurs., Sept. 3, in the following communities, weather permitting:  Brookfield, Eagles Nest,  Loveton Farms, Meredith Ridge, Misty Hollow, Montrose, Ramsgate, Summer Hill and Windy Hills Farm.

Spraying will begin at or after 7:30 p.m. Any existing spray exemptions in the area will be temporarily suspended. People should avoid outdoor activities on spray nights. For more information, call MDA’s Mosquito Control Program at 410-841-5870.
