Maryland State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners Meeting notice
Annapolis, MD – The Maryland State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners will meet on December 5th, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Maryland Department of Agriculture. Agritourism and Value Added Agriculture Subcommittee Meeting
This meeting will be held in hybrid format on Thursday, December 5th, 2024, from 9:00 – 10:00 AM. The in-person component will be held at MDA Headquarters in Annapolis (50 Harry S. Truman Parkway, Annapolis, MD 21401), and the online component is accessible on Google Meet using the link embedded in this calendar invite. An agenda and meeting materials will be sent out prior to the meeting from Martin Proulx, Value Added Agriculture Specialist at MDA, who will chair this Committee.
This meeting will be recorded and held in compliance with the Open Meetings Act. Guests are welcome to join but will be asked not to participate in the meeting unless a Commission member asks for their input. Agency heads (Secretaries) and their representatives/ designees are members of the Commission, as well as those appointed by the Governor to serve.

State Soil Conservation Committee Meeting Notice
ANNAPOLIS, MD – The State Soil Conservation Committee will meet Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm at the Maryland Farm Bureau, 3358 Davidsonville Road, Davidsonville, MD 21035. The meeting is open to the public and will focus on soil conservation and water quality programs. Lunch will be served. Established in 1938, the State Soil Conservation Committee coordinates the activities of Maryland’s 24 soil conservation districts, while advising the Secretary of Agriculture on matters relating to soil and water conservation.
