Baltimore Inmate Walks Off


TOWSON, MD (January 30, 2018) – Baltimore Police and the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services Warrant Apprehension Unit are searching for an inmate who walked away from a Baltimore work detail on Monday, January 29, 2018.

Thomas Rivera, 46, was assigned to Recreation and Parks #3 when he jumped out of a department van sitting at a red light at about 1:30 p.m. and fled. Rivera was serving time for 1st Degree Burglary at the Baltimore City Correctional Center.

All authorities were immediately notified and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Age: 46

Last Scene: 2700 Block of Livingston Street

Institution: Baltimore City Correctional Center

Charges: 1st Degree Burglary.
