Hagerstown Parole & Probation office goes to the dogs while helping the kids

TOWSON, MD — The Hagerstown Field Office of the Division of Parole and Probation is known for benevolent people and leaders who are always looking to help the community. Their latest efforts benefited both children and pets.

Last week, Agent Otto Field Supervisor Staley donated new children’s books for Hickory Elementary School.

Agents Scrugham and McSherry also bought dog toys and treats for the Humane society of Washington County.

Agent Ferguson joined the Hagerstown Police Department‘s Safe Streets to volunteer at the Police Athletic League’s Monday Night Basketball – a program held in high crime, low income neighborhoods.

Parole and Probation appreciates its hardworking Hagerstown employees, and all of the 1,000 men and women who work hard every day on the front lines of community supervision.
