37th Annual Governor’s Crime Prevention Awards

TOWSON, MD — Public Safety’s Maryland Community Crime Prevention Institute hosted its 37th annual Governor’s Crime Prevention Awards luncheon on December 13.

More than 50 law enforcement agencies, police and correctional officers, sheriff’s deputies, and private citizens were honored for their commitment to crime prevention programs.

The annual event is a major undertaking by Claude Nelson – a veteran D.A.R.E. coordinator and Maryland  Community Crime Prevention Institute stalwart – and his co-workers.
