(TOWSON, MD) — Members of the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services (DPSCS) recently welcomed students, parents, and teachers of Northwood Elementary School in Northeast Baltimore during “Back to School Night.”

DPSCS adopted Northwood Elementary during Governor Larry Hogan’s “Maryland Unites – Day of Service” initiative.

The DPSCS Executive Team painted the school’s library and teachers’ lounge and provided new furniture for the school’s entrance. Department employees also collected and donated more than 500 new and gently used books for the school’s library.
