Graduation day for America’s VetDogs Galaxie and Georgie

(TOWSON, MD) — The newest America’s VetDogs “graduates” said goodbye to their inmate trainers and staff friends at Eastern Correctional Institution today.

ECI is one of four DPSCS prisons in the landmark partnership with America’s VetDogs that features incarcerated veterans and other inmates training service dogs for wounded American heroes.

DSPCS is proud of ECI and all of the four facilities that are involved in this life-changing program.

From here, Galaxie and Georgie head to Long Island, NY, for “finishing school” at VetDogs headquarters. Two new puppies will come to ECI within the next several days.
