2014 Annual DPSCS Run & Tug in pictures

[soliloquy id="1711"]

SYKESVILLE, MD – Twenty-two teams of pumped-up correctional officers from across the state took their job seriously Saturday afternoon: to raise money for Special Olympics MD. To that end, the seven-member teams did a real rope-pulling competition in the 21st Annual DPSCS Run and Tug.

The day started with a sanctioned 5K run and walk, organized and timed by Charm City Run. Then came the tug, with competition you’d have to see to believe.

In the end, DPSCS crowned heavyweight, lightweight, and female team champions, and Special Olympics walked away with thousands of dollars thanks to the dedicated people of DPSCS.

Congratulations to the winners!
