NRP Investigates Death of Tilghman Island Waterman

Natural Resources Police LogoInvestigators for the Maryland Natural Resources Police are continuing to review the weekend death of a Tilghman Island waterman whose body was found floating alongside his boat.

Michael Craig Larrimore, 54, was last seen on Sunday morning by the owner of a business at Dogwood Harbor Marina. A friend called the Tilghman Island Volunteer Fire Department at dinner time on Monday when he could not find Larrimore aboard his boat.

First responders recovered the body between the bulkhead and the boat, and NRP began its investigation.

Family members said Larrimore had been living on the boat for about a week and had kept to himself.

The body was taken to the Medical Examiner’s office in Baltimore Tuesday morning for an autopsy.
