Cunningham Falls State Park to Close Manor Area for Clean-up Project

The Manor Area at Cunningham Falls State Park will be closed to the public January 15 through the end of February to remove dead and dying trees caused by Hurricane Sandy, as part of an approved salvage program.

The salvage program promotes natural regeneration and improved biodiversity, and ensures visitor safety. During the project, all day use areas, camping facilities and hiking trails within the Manor Area will be closed.

The William Houck area of Cunningham Falls State Park will remain open and will not be affected by the operation. The managed hunting area is accessible from outlying parking areas.
