The Mid-Atlantic Living Shorelines Summit is an energizing two-day event featuring a mix of presentations and facilitated breakout sessions designed to help participants more effectively apply shoreline-related projects and programs.

Staff from the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, Chesapeake Bay Trust, and Restore America’s Estuaries will highlight the latest advancements in living shorelines research, implementation, policy and practice, through working meetings, open dialogue and problem solving discussions. The summit aims to share research, tools and lessons related to living shorelines; share how to best use these resources to energize programs at State and local levels; and unite and strengthen living shoreline communities groups across the region.
