Bidding Opens for Trapping Privileges on Select Lower Eastern Shore DNR Properties

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is currently accepting bids for 2013-2014 trapping seasons at Cedar Island, Deal Island, E. A. Vaughn, Fairmount, Isle of Wight, Maryland Marine Properties, Pocomoke River, Pocomoke Sound, Sinepuxent Bay, South Marsh Island, and Wellington, Johnson wildlife management areas (WMA),  Janes Island State Park and Hickory Point.

Applicants may pick up their bid packages at the Wellington WMA office at 32733 Dublin Road in Princess Anne, 21853; or at the DNR Salisbury Service Center at 201 Baptist Street, Suite 22 in Salisbury, 21801.

Completed sealed bids must be returned, by mail or in person, to the DNR Salisbury Service Center  by 12 p.m. on October 24, 2013 ─ and will be opened by 1 p.m. the same day. DNR will award the individual with the highest bid annual trapping privileges.
