Greenbrier to Host Junior Ranger Program

Who: Children ages 5-12

When: Every Thursday July 11 to August 15, from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

Where: Greenbrier State Park, 21843 National Pike, Boonsboro

Cost: $25 per child; $10 each additional from same family

Greenbrier State Park welcomes families to join its exciting summer Junior Ranger Program. Children will explore the park, discover nature and learn about the great outdoors with the guidance of rangers. Participants are grouped by age: Park Pals (5-8) and Junior Rangers (9-12).

Kids will enjoy fun, interactive, nature-themed activities including crafts, games, hikes and discussions designed to cultivate outdoor awareness and encourage early childhood development.
