When: March 9-10 & 16-17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: The William Houck Area of Cunningham Falls State Park, 14039 Catoctin Hollow Road in Thurmont

Cost: $2 per person; Youth groups $1 per person

This fun-packed event will feature continuous demonstrations of the traditional maple syrup-making process, a pancake breakfast, kid-friendly games, and live music in large, heated tents.

The pancake and sausage breakfast will be served from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for an additional, cash-only cost.

Proceeds from the 43rd Annual Maple Syrup-making Demonstration benefit the Friends of Cunningham Falls and Gambrill State Parks. The park opens at 9 a.m. and closes at sunset. A sign language interpreter will be stationed on both Sundays. Pets are permitted on a leash and outside only.
