The Maryland Natural Resources Police (NRP) charged a total of nine people with various hunting violations in Allegany, Carroll and Montgomery counties in January.
Allegany County ─ On January 28, NRP charged Tyler John Hetrick, 21, of Corriganville with failure to record deer kill on a big game harvest record and exceeding the Region A deer bag limit. Each violation carries a $250 fine. A court date of March 21, 2013 is set in Allegany County.
Carroll County ─ On January 7, NRP officers charged Donald Kincaid, III, 31, of Manchester with hunting under the influence of alcohol, which requires he appear in court, and hunting without written permission, a $450 fine. Officers also charged three others with hunting without written permission ─ Heather Schwendeman, 25, of Manchester, and Garrett Reese, 28, and Trevor Reese, 26, both of Westminster. A court date ofMarch 13, 2013 is set in Carroll County.
Montgomery County ─
On January 5, NRP charged Raynald Joseph, 29, of Gaithersburg with hunting deer with a rifle in a shotgun-only county and hunting with prohibited ammunition ─ which each carry a $250 fine ─ and hunting without license in possession, an $80 fine. A court date of March 12, 2013 has been set in Montgomery County.
On January 13, NRP charged Jianjun Chen, 37, and Xingping Huang, 33, both of Rockville with exceeding the daily catch limit of crappie, a $300 fine.
On January 16, NRP charged Matthew Kolden, 18, of Germantown with driving a vehicle in a non-designated area of Seneca Creek State Park, which carries a $270 fine.
