Assistant Secretary for Facilities Planning, Design, Construction and Energy Lauren Buckler Selected by The Daily Record to Receive a 2018 Leading Women Award

Lauren Buckler, Department of General Services Assistant Secretary of Facilities Planning, Design, Construction and Energy has been selected  to receive a “2018 Leading Women” by The Daily Record.

The Daily Record’s Leading Women awards honor 52 women who are 40 years old or younger for the accomplishments they have made so far in their careers. A panel of previous Top 100 Women and Leading Women winners selected the honorees based on their professional experience, community involvement and commitment to inspiring change.

“For the most part, DGS works behind the scenes,” said Secretary Ellington Churchill. “So it’s a great day when one of our dedicated and hard-working employees receives public recognition,” he added. “Congratulations, Lauren, for this well-deserved honor.”
