U.S. & Maryland Flag Flow Half-Staff, Sunday, August 26, 2018

Governor Larry Hogan ordered the United States Flag and Maryland State Flag lowered to half-staff effective immediately until sunset, today, Sunday, August 26, 2018. This action is in honor of United States Senator John McCain who will forever remain one of the most valiant heroes our country has ever known. He has long stood as a shining example of doing the right thing and standing up for his principles. His legacy is one of selfless service, grit, and determination.
