March 2017 Honorees

Randolph Wilson

Randolph Wilson is an energy administrator in the Energy Office. His work to identify opportunities to reduce energy use in state buildings is extremely important, and he works exceptionally hard with the 52 executive agencies to develop and complete their agency energy plans. He coordinates with MEA to review and analyze the agency energy plans, and together, they submit their proposed plans for implementation to the Governor’s  Office for review and approval. Randolph volunteered to lead Green Purchasing Committee meetings, where he provides direction and input on green purchasing reports.

Kash McGuire

Alfred “Kash” McGuire  is well known throughout the Annapolis complex for his easy going disposition. With more than 30 years of service with DGS as a trim carpenter, Kash’s handiwork is in every state building in Annapolis. When a desk needs to be refurbished, the sounds of his saws can be heard resonating from his workshop. Kash is always ready to lend a hand; he can be found escorting contractors, hanging photos or working on plumbing issues. He is a credit to the Department of General Services.

Becky Vodusek

Becky Vodusek keeps the day-to-day functions of MCP headquarters afloat and is involved in every facet of our operations. Among her many duties, she is the headquarters’ receptionist, HR  liaison, hiring coordinator, records keeper, and SPS timekeeper not only for headquarters but also for Special Services and the Baltimore Detachment. As the SPS timekeeper, she manages the time submissions for three quarters of our agency. She provides guidance on special coding for holidays and our 24/7 staff, and she works closely with Finance to send out reminders on submission due dates. She reviews time sheets and ensures overtime is properly documented, completes time entry for absent employees, and makes corrections and adjustments to ensure that time and leave for all our personnel are submitted on time.

“In the three short years she has been with MCP, Becky Vodusek has become a valued employee,” said Chief Mike Wilson.
