Employee of the Month – Ronald Moulden

Ronald Moulden (cntr) is pictured with FOM Assistant Secretary Luis Luna, deputy secretaries Nelson Reichart and Leigh William, and Secretary Ellington Churchill.

Ronald Moulden has been with Facilities Operations and Maintenance in Annapolis for more than 17 years, which makes him a familiar face in the state’s capital. He interacts with just about everyone: the Governor’s staff, Government House employees, State House employees, and employees at the other state buildings comprising the Annapolis Complex.

While nominally an HVAC technician, in reality Ronald is a jack of all trades. Friendly and courteous, he can often be found helping his colleagues in the other trades with painting, electrical work and plumbing. He gladly checks for roof leaks, replaces ceiling tiles, re-caulks brick walkways and repairs malfunctioning machinery.

Ronald’s natural inclination to help others reaches beyond the Annapolis complex. For years, he volunteered for Habitat for Humanity in Annapolis to build affordable homes. He continues to serve his community by helping homeowners fix their household mechanical problems – at no cost!

“Whatever he’s asked to do, Ronald can be counted on to help – always with a positive attitude and a smile on his face,” said FOM Assistant Secretary Luis Luna.

For his courteous customer service and his commitment to improving the quality of life on the job and in his community, Ronald is our Employee of the Month for January.

[Ronald’s name was submitted for Caught DGS (Doing Great Service) recognition last December. From the Caught DGS employees recognized that month, he was voted this month’s Employee of the Month by the Caught DGS Workgroup.]
